I want to increase student fluency with various presentations of data by encouraging students to interact with and interrogate graphs, charts and tables.  I will introduce one new course component in two of the courses I teach. In Quantitative Biology of the Cell, students will maintain a blog to keep track of the improvement in their ability to generate charts of their own data. In Introductory Biology I, my students will annotate a figure using image mark-up software like ThingLink.
