Creating Interactive Educational Content with HTML5 Package (H5P)

On Thursday, July 11, 2019, UMass Amherst upgraded to Moodle 3.5 to meet and maintain security and accessibility requirements with an updated, mobile-friendly interface and a host of user-requested improvements! One of these updates was the inclusion of HTML5 Package, also known as H5P! Faculty-oriented workshops on the topic are occasionally offered here.

H5P is an open source platform for creating interactive educational content, available to users of Moodle, WordPress, Blackboard, and more via plugin/LTI integrations. H5P allows for the creation of interactive content (i.e., Interactive Videos, Flashcards, etc.), granting maneuverability in meeting pedagogical goals and enhancing students’ learning experiences.

Take a look at some examples and downloadable content here.
