Designing Games for Political Ecology and Environmental Justice

On March 16, 2016 UMass Amherst IT’s Sam Anderson visited with students from Central European University (CEU) Professor Guntra Aistara‘s Political Ecology and Environmental Justice course to assist them with their game design proposals.

In this course, the masters’ students final project was to design (analog) games to explore individual case studies they had already explored in class. This assignment was inspired by UMass Amherst professor Krista Harper’s 2014 course Teaching Anthropology of/Through Games.

The students and staff of CEU generously allowed us to share this class recording with you (embedded below).
