What is a Zoom Pro Account?

A Zoom Pro account allows the holder to schedule and record events of up to 50 participants. After a successful pilot of a variety of videoconferencing solutions in 2015-17, UMass IT is now providing Zoom Pro accounts on request to faculty, students, and staff.

Additional Features Available Upon Request

Special extensions for hosting larger numbers of participants can be temporarily added to a Zoom Pro account on request for the time needed for an event.

A Large Meeting accommodates up to 100 participants. A Webinar accommodates up to 500 participants and includes pre-registration and other features that facilitate lecture-style broadcast events.
